Project Overview
Duke’s is a famously known snack bar located in Msida, renowned for its amazing Maltese bread and genuine, high-quality food. With branding that had been created many years ago, the business felt it was time for a refresh – one that would better reflect its personality, energy, and loyal customer base.
Duke’s approached MDV with the vision of rebranding their business into something more fun, engaging, and modern, while still staying true to the authenticity that made them so well known.
The Challenge
The main challenge was modernising an already well-established brand without losing its identity or loyal following. Duke’s needed a fresh and playful visual language that would appeal to both existing customers and a new generation of visitors, while maintaining the sense of tradition tied to their food and reputation.
Ensuring consistency across all touchpoints, from in-store materials to the website, was also a key consideration.
Our Approach
We transformed Duke’s idea into reality by creating a complete brand identity from the ground up. This included a new logo, comprehensive branding guidelines, and supporting materials such as menus and custom food paper, all designed to feel fun, bold, and engaging.
